LaLiga this weekend and today

A Spanish round spreads over several days, so the list groups games by SAST date with the earliest start at the top. Today’s fixtures sit first, followed by the rest of the weekend.

Each row shows the home side, the away side and the kick-off in South African time. A Tip button lights up about 40 hours before the start, when the match page with venue, form and odds is written.

A postponed game keeps its row, marked PP where the time would be. When the Spanish league sets the new date, the updated start shows on the list inside 30 minutes.

La Liga fixtures for next weekend sit on the list as well, so a midweek check shows two rounds at once.

When Spain changes its clocks

Spain moves its clocks forward on the last Sunday of March and back on the last Sunday of October. South Africa keeps SAST all year.

In the northern winter Spain is one hour behind, and the late 21:00 game in Madrid or Barcelona reads 22:00 SAST. In the northern summer the two clocks match, so the same game starts at 21:00 here.

The chart counts every SAST slot La Liga has used this season. In the week the clocks change, a game at the same Spanish time reads an hour later on the list after the switch.

La Liga fixtures in the week of the change already show the new SAST time. Nothing needs converting on the South African side.

Latest Spanish scores

Scores from the past seven days follow, the most recent at the top, each one taken at the end of 90 minutes. Seven days after kick-off, a game drops off. A Spanish league match has no extra time, so the score shown is the one that counts on the log.

Each full-time score feeds the La Liga log table roughly half an hour after the whistle. A Sunday game at 22:00 SAST therefore shows in the points column before Monday morning in South Africa.

Read next to the list at the top, the scores show which clubs have played their round. They also show which still have a game to come. A late Monday game closes many Spanish rounds, so the full set of scores lands on Tuesday.

Six season tiles for the Spanish top flight

The six tiles split every La Liga result since 1 July into home wins, away wins and draws. They then add goals per game, the over 2.5 share and the BTTS share. Each final score lands in them with the same 30-minute delay as the log.

Early in the season one round moves each tile sharply. With 20 clubs and 38 rounds, ten games join the count each round, and the figures steady past the halfway mark of 190 matches. In the closing rounds each tile rests on more than 300 games.

The tiles also feed the calls on the La Liga predictions page. When draws climb, double chance gains ground on the straight result there. A busy over 2.5 tile tilts the goals lines towards overs.

Kick-offs, PP and scores in Spain

What time is the late La Liga game in SAST?

It starts at 22:00 SAST in the northern winter and at 21:00 between late March and late October. The chart lists every slot used this season.

How many weeks of Spanish games does the list show?

Two weeks ahead, grouped by SAST date. Changes from the league appear within 30 minutes.

What does PP next to a LaLiga match mean?

The match is postponed. It holds its spot on the list until the league picks another date, and that kick-off then fills the row.

How long do La Liga results stay listed?

Seven days. After that the score leaves the list, while the points stay on the log.
